The Pound Ridge Democratic Committee is  pleased to announce the candidacies of Alison Boak for Town Board and Andrew Brodnick  for Town Justice.

Alison serves on the Pound Ridge Ad-Hoc Committee for Sensible Airspace and leads a community effort aimed at protecting residents’ well water from pesticide contamination from the Pound Ridge Golf Course. She was appointed to the Bedford Central School District’s Budget Advisory Committee by Superintendant Dr. Jere Hochman. Alison is currently co-founder and president of the International Organization for Adolescents (IOFA), a non-profit group dedicated to preventing child slavery and trafficking.

“I am honored to accept the Democratic Town Committees nomination and am running to make a difference in Pound Ridge for my children and for all of us,” Alison Boak said. “I plan to be an accessible board member and to be responsive to community needs in a way that is urgent, efficient, and focused.”

Andrew Brodnick has been a member of the Pound Ridge Planning Board for 13 years, and previously served on the Pound Ridge Landmarks Commission for 5 years.
