The editorial board of the Journal News hosted the Democratic candidates for Pound Ridge Town Board, along with their Republican opponents. Here’s a bit of the article, which you can read in full here.
At a meeting last week with The Journal News Editorial Board, the Democrats wasted no time taking aim at the mostly Republican Town Board’s stewardship, with Arnow Brill saying it has “not been stellar”on such key issues as rising traffic and water quality.
Arnow Brill, president of the Pound Ridge Land Conservancy, said she would like to see the town finally come up with an adoptable comprehensive plan, which serves as a blueprint for how the town should develop.
“I’ve really been holding the committee together despite, often, a lack of leadership from our Town Board on the issue,” said Arnow Brill, a member of the comprehensive plan committee.
The election is only two weeks away!
