An annual tradition for the Pound Ridge Democrats has been a Chinese New Year party to kick off the year on a good note and this year’s celebration was no exception.
49 townspeople gathered at Cross River’s Haiku restaurant to hear local elected officials and guest of honor Ted Sorensen speak on important issues of the day. And nothing was more on the minds of attendees than today’s primary. A straw vote of attendees resulted in a close race, with 28 voting for our own Senator Clinton and 21 supporting Senator Obama.
