
Ira Clair, a ten year resident of Pound Ridge, is the Pound Ridge Democratic Committee’s newest District Leader. Ira is a founding partner of the law firm, Clair and Gjertsen and an adjunct law professor at several area colleges. Mr. Clair is a recognized expert in foreclosure and serves as a referee, guardian ad litem and Scar hearing officer. Prior to moving to Pound Ridge nearly a decade ago, Ira lived in New Rochelle for nearly twenty years and was involved various activities and municipal boards there.
According to Mr. Clair, “ I am excited to be part of a newly energized Pound Ridge Democratic Committee It is essential to have a real two party system in town so that there is continuing productive dialogue rather than the status quo. Ali Boak is a very appearing breath of fresh air who personifies what I mean. I am gratified to be able to play a part.”
